Welcome to Scapecapture

Hi, I’m Daniel Davies, founder of Scapecapture (and sometimes you’ll see me as Daniel Boundford‑Davies in more formal settings).

I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always drawing, cutting, sticking, and making things, which eventually led me to study Art & Design at college. University wasn’t an option for me at the time, so I spent years working in factories and on construction sites, fitting creativity in wherever I could.

In 2001, while changing careers, I went back into education to do an IT diploma. That’s where I first discovered Adobe Photoshop 2.0, and it completely changed how I saw what was possible. I started exploring digital art in my spare time, even while juggling different jobs just to pay the bills.

In 2018, I decided to take things further and returned to college to study Creative Media and Production. That’s where I really got hands-on with the full Adobe Creative Suite and began shaping the kind of work I do today. Since then, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, including:

Editing documentaries, films, adverts, music videos

Camera work, animation, and visual effects.

Graphic Design

Logo design, Branding and General graphic design.

Photography

Sports, Landscapes, Portraits, Wildlife and more.

Scapecapture is the result of that journey, a place where I bring ideas to life through visual storytelling, whether that’s for music, film, brands, or digital campaigns.
